Blossoming Creativity

Hello again Crafting Friends!

I pray that you’ve had a great week! So far, it’s been a pretty uneventful week here, thankfully! I’ve never been so happy for normal as I am now!

On to the project of the day! So, remember I posted the card for the Color Combo Blog Hop using the Cherry Blossom dies? I told you I’d make a card that used the same stamp set, but leave the dies off. I didn’t realize when I was making it how absolutely lovely it would turn out.

I used the Forever Blossoms Stamp set; Bermuda Bay ink and card stock, Mossy Meadow ink and card stock, Smokey Slate ink and card stock, and Whisper White card stock; Wink of Stella Glitter Brush; and I added some Pearls to bling it up!

One of the best ways to make #simplestamping stand out is to make your own DSP with your stamps. I think tone on tone really works well. It keeps the card balanced and the focus on the main stamp and sentiment.

Added touches like the Wink Of Stella and the Pearls elevate a card to give the receiver the wow effect that lets them know you were thinking of them. And, who doesn’t like bling?

Ok, so now you’ve seen with and without dies. It’s always great to see how you can work with what you can afford, and what you’ll be capable of once you can afford more. You don’t have to buy everything at once, you just have to get the basics and build on that!

Until next time, Happy Crafting!
