Hello Crafting Friends!

It’s great to see everyone back here again. I truly hope this has been a great month for everyone! Spring has come, but in some places like here, you wouldn’t be able to tell. I hope it’s not like that where you are.

For the craft for April, I created another 3D project. This time I made a tray for National Husband Appreciation Day, April 17th. I have one heck of a great guy by my side and I wanted to make something that would show him he’s loved.

I bought this tray at Dollar Tree, and I knew instantly what I wanted to make with it. I pulled out the Whiskey Business stamp set, and created a little serving tray for him.

I loved the idea of having something he could set on his bar and have to get teased about by his guy friends! Yeah, I’m that kind of wife!

I used the World of Good Specialty DSP for the background. It’s retiring soon, so get it before it’s gone. I added some In Good Taste DSP for a ledge and wrapped in linen thread. I then used Basic White card stock and stamped the the Decanter and glasses on it in Seaside Spray In Color, also retiring soon. I embossed them with clear embossing powder and used dimensionals to put them on. I used the Tailored Tag punch to punch out the sentiment stamped in the Seaside Spray and Crumb Cake and added it to the top. That’s it!
