Hello Crafting Friends!
The new Butterfly Brilliance Collection is just absolutely lovely, you just have no choice but to make an OHHH sound! I don’t normally get super proud of my cards. To be honest, I have a hard time sharing them. But, this card really really made me smile! I fell in love this the style.
First, I love these dies! The fact that they line up with the paper really made me happy! I love that Stampin’ Up! always makes my crafting experience as easy as possible. I really can’t wait for you to see this paper in person. It’s so much prettier than it looks on the computer.
On this card, I wanted to use the paper as the main focal point and not stamp anything that would distract from it, so I didn’t stamp at all. This is just the paper on display! Both papers are amazing, so I wanted a card to really make them shine! I loved that the dies matched perfectly with the butterflies on this DSP and knew they would be majestic sitting front and center!
Making the Natural Touch DSP the background was perfect because it feels like the butterflies are sitting on a tree, wanting us to admire them. I needed a little something to pull it all together, so I added the Early Espresso Faux Suede ribbon and Pearl Basic Jewels for a bit of bling.
Sometimes, simple cards make the biggest impacts. Never feel that you have to always do extravagant cards. It’s ok to do them if that’s your style, but remember that doing a little bit can make a big impact!
