Whiskey Dad

Hey there! How’s life today? Have you gotten any time to play lately? I try to get some play time in each day, but I have had our grand daughters for the few days so it just didn’t happen.  I won’t have the babies until Monday, so expect quite a few cards. 😃

Today, I wanted to make a card for my husband. I loved this set, Whiskey Business, the second I saw it and I even took a screen shot and sent it to my husband immediately! He was so excited to have a few more masculine stamp sets. I’ve had it sitting on a shelf for about 2 months, but I haven’t had any idea of what to make with it… until today!

I used the tile DSP from the In Good Taste DSP pack. Have you seen this pack of DSP? OMGoodness! I just love these papers. They are perfect for so many different occasions! I’m going to be so sad when they retire. It really makes the perfect background for a simple masculine card.

The set has a really cute wooden board stamp that I used to make a countertop. It came out pretty nice if you ask me. The Braided Burlap Trim really made a great “caulking”. Yes, it’s retired, but I haven’t bought any of the new ribbons, because I have SO MANY ribbons. LOL I just have to get some of it used up!

I’ll be back soon with card early next week, or maybe sooner since I don’t have the grandkids for the rest of the week.

Until we meet again, Happy Crafting!
